Today in Poland, we celebrated the 227th anniversary of the publication of the 3rd May Constitution regulating the system of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. Created in 1791 it was the first constitution in Europe and the second in the world! This is an important celebration for the country we work in, and a milestone when it comes to building a (then) future of a democratic and united Europe. The Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth was once a Union that accepted and gave shelter to people from every nation and religion. As EYP Poland, we want to pay tribute to the importance of this holiday, which promotes the values of democracy and intercultural dialogue, that we strive to build and sustain with each of our events!
